Medal's 2024 Year in Review
Our goal has always been pretty simple: to help you turn gaming moments into shareable stories. Not just for convenience, but so you can be creative and fun and make things with or for your friends, and BOY HOWDY did you all make some clips in 2024.

Best Sound Effect 2024
Folks are still using the "yeet" sound effect more than any other. In fact, Medal users YEET-ed nearly 14,000 times in 2024, up from 10,000 YEETs in 2023. That's ~38 yeets per day, up 40% yeet from last year.
Will yeet be up or down in 2025?

- Albums: Organize your top highlights into playlists for easy sharing or safe-keeping.
- Recorder Menu in the Top Navbar: Access recording controls instantly from the top navbar for quick adjustments.
- High Frame Rate Uploads: Premium users can now upload smoother, high-FPS clips that look as good as they play.
- “Who Viewed My Clip” is Now Free: See who’s been watching your clips with this now free-for-all feature.
- Action Bar in the Library: Manage clips faster with a new action bar for sharing, deleting, and organizing.
- New Profiles: Revamp Your Gaming Identity: Show off your best moments and personality with redesigned profile pages.
- A Hilarious Amount of Improvements & Bug Fixes: We fixed and improved a lot of stuff. Sped things up. Squashed bugs.
