Hey everyone!
After a loooong loooong break, we’re excited to officially relaunch the Medal Research Group (MRG) — our community-driven program where passionate Medal users help shape the future of the platform.
MRG used to be a small internal group years ago, but today we’re bringing it back better, more organized, and open to far more people. This is your chance to directly influence new features, test early builds, and help us improve Medal for millions of creators.

🔍 What Is MRG?
MRG is a volunteer program where selected users participate in different types of product research, including:
• 🎙️ Interviews
• 🖥️ Moderated user tests
• 🧪 Unmoderated task-based tests
• 🧭 Feature walkthroughs & prototype feedback
• 📊 Occasional surveys
Your feedback helps our product, design, and engineering teams make Medal smoother, smarter, and more fun to use.
👤 Who Can Join?
MRG is now open to:
• Adults (18+)
• Teens aged 14–17 with a signed Parental Consent Form
We take safety seriously, so underaged users must have parental permission before participating in any research involving voice or screen recordings.

🎁 Rewards for Participation
Help shape Medal — and get rewarded for it. Valid participants may receive perks like:
🏅 MRG Profile Badge
You’ll receive the official MRG badge on your Medal profile after completing your first research project. Active members will keep their badge.
⭐ Medal Premium
Members who participate in and complete research sessions will receive Medal Premium.
The duration of Premium depends on the size and complexity of the project.
🎮 Game Gift Cards
For large-scale research studies, we may reward participants with game gift cards.
These are reserved for users who provide exceptionally detailed, valuable feedback that greatly helps our teams.
🧪 Early Access to New Features
Some research projects include exclusive early access to upcoming or experimental Medal features.
Access is granted only to members participating in the relevant study.

✍️ How to Join
To apply, please fill out the MRG application form. If you are 18+, this is all you need.
(If you are 14–17, you’ll need to have a parent or guardian sign the consent form — email tim@medal.tv to get it. Underaged applicants will only be accepted once we receive the signed form.)
