How to get a free copy of YAPYAP from Medal!

We’re giving away 3,000 copies of the upcoming magic-themed co-op horror game, YAPYAP!

What’s YAPYAP? Think Lethal Company meets the flappy mouths of REPO meets the spell-casting of Mage Arena…and then some. Simply wishlist the game and post a clip of you playing the free demo on Steam. Upon completing the quest, you will receive a Steam key for the full version of YAPYAP, playable when it launches (expected later this year).

How to get a YAPYAP key from Medal

Step 1:
‍Connect your Steam account to Medal.

Step 2:
Wishlist YAPYAP using the link in Step 2 of the quest. (We're not linking it here, since you need to click the link from within Medal for this step to work!)

Step 3:
Play a round in the YAPYAP demo and post a clip of the chaos to your Medal profile! YAPYAP is best played with friends (max group of 5) for maximum silly, but you can also play solo. The demo ends on October 20, 2025, so be sure to capture your clip in time!

The first 3,000 Medal users to complete the quest will receive an official YAPYAP Steam key to unlock the full game, expected late this year.

I don’t see the quest in Medal!‍

- This quest is only available to Medal users in NA, LATAM, and the EU

- Make sure you’re on the most recent version of the desktop app (press the green arrow in the top right of Medal to update your app, if you see it)

- We'll also update this blog once the keys have all been redeemed, or the YAPYAP demo period ends on October 20, 2025‍

Can I gift my YAPYAP key to a friend?

Yes and that's so kind! Your quest reward is delivered as a Steam code, which you are welcome to give to a friend.
