How to get a free copy of PEAK from Medal!

PEAK is the perfect game to clip with friends, so we’re giving away 3,000 copies to Medal users as part of a new quest. It’s live in the Medal app right now while supplies last.

Steps to get your copy of PEAK

Step 1:
‍Connect your Steam account to Medal. Your friends list must be public.

Step 2:
Invite an existing Steam friend (Steam friends before Sept 22nd 12 AM UTC) to sign up and take their first clip with Medal. They should enter your Medal username as their referrer (either during setup or Settings > My Account > Enter referral code), connect their Steam, and make a clip.

Step 3:
Post a new clip to your profile (not previously captured). You can post a clip from any game, not just PEAK (since you might not have it yet!)

Step 4:
If you haven't already, verify your phone number on Medal in Settings > Privacy & Security > Verify Account. This helps us know that you're real and prevents botting/scamming.

Once you have completed these steps, check the quest in your Medal app to find a Steam code for your free copy of PEAK.

PEAK quest FAQs

I don’t see the quest in Medal!‍

Make sure you’re on the most recent version of the desktop app (press the green arrow in the top right of Medal to update your app, if you see it). Switch your client to standard Medal if you're on Early Access.‍

Can I refer a friend who is already on Medal?‍

No, referrals can only be used by new Medal users who connect their Steam account and clip. But, you should tell your friends (Medal or not) about this quest so they can get a copy of the game too!

‍Can I refer someone and they refer me back?‍

No, referrals can only be used by new Medal users.

‍What if I already own a copy of PEAK? Can I gift this one?

Yes (also wow what a great friend)! Your quest reward is delivered as a Steam code, which you are welcome to give to a friend if you already own the game.

‍I referred a Steam friend but that step isn’t completed!

Make sure that:

• You were friends on Steam before September 22nd, 12 AM UTC.
• They entered your Medal username during setup (they can also enter your name in Settings > My Account > Enter referral code while their account is still new) 
• They connected their Steam account
• They captured at least one clip using Medal
